Description: This is a point coverage of IEPA Surface Water Section monitoring stations generated on June 3, 2015. Each point (lat/long) contains a station code. A point may contain more than one station code due to programmatic needs. Points are associated with the NHD line and polygon coverages via an AUID field that links to IEPA assessment and reporting reaches. Waterbody names generally reflect the NHD but also include names from 7.5 and 15 minute topo maps as well as local names. The "TYPE" field separates the stations into stream, inland lake and Lake Michigan as well as programmatic goals. Data on the applicable dissolved oxygen standard as of May 2015 is also included.
